About

I love animals big and small.

I have cared for dogs, cats, birds, guinea pigs and rabbits. I’ve walked dogs for Monica’s Doggie Rescue and have fostered dogs from shelters; one of which I taught obedience skills to, at doggie training school. I have volunteered at Taronga Zoo in their Youth At The Zoo (YATZ) program feeding and helping to care for some of the zoo animals and have volunteered with Sydney Metropolitan Wildlife Rescue to help sick and injured birds. I also have a Certificate II in Animal Studies from TAFE.

I have cared for people’s homes and the owner’s pets while they were away.

Some recent bookings include:

  • Minding a house while the family went on holidays overseas and looked after their cat and 18-month-old spoodle.

  • Caring for a six-month-old cavoodle while the family went camping. I visited their house twice a day to feed her, walk her and play with her. I also brought in their bins after the garbage trucks had been.

  • Caring for a cockatiel when the family went away. I visited their house twice a day to feed him, provide companionship and to generally look after their house. In the morning, I would open the blinds to let some sun in and would change the food, water and bottlebrush branch and keep the cockatiel company. Then in the afternoon, I would close the blinds, clean up around and in the cage and provide him with more company.

I have extensive experience with a variety of animals and would provide the highest level of care for your beloved pets. I also have a police check and public liability insurance (available on request).
